OK, Yahoo Sports (Tennis) is banning me again at a highly inopportune moment! So, what's new?! Anyhoo, now to move on to the relevant details:
Article in discussion posted on Tue Aug 16 12:36pm EDT. Title: Video: Roddick on why tennis needs to be more like NFL, WWE (Busted Racquet).
Web address: http://sports.yahoo.com/tennis/blog/busted_racquet/post/Video-Roddick-on-why-tennis-needs-to-be-more-li?urn=ten-wp2551
In response to my comment under the article, expressing the view that black athletes are treated with less repect than their white counterparts (actually, I stated that this was a fact), Stephen wrote:
"Tell me, Wise Woman, what facts are those? Lay them out for me, please.
Because at the moment, all I see from you is incediary (read: hate) speech, with nothing to support your ridiculous accusations. Of course, this is typical of racists who seek only to further their hateful agenda as opposed to seeking rational discourse."
Now, for some unknown (?) reason, Yahoo stubbornly refuses to publish my reply to Stephen's query! So, here it is:
Are you serious, Stephen?! Have you not seen the innumerable dehumanising comments about the Williams sisters under every tennis article (often under articles that bear no mention of the ladies in discussion!)? When are white athletes referred to as gorillas? When are white players' parents mocked & denigrated the way the Williams sisters' mom and dad are? Why aren't white sports stars' achievements repeatedly ridiculed by unproven accusations of steroid use? In fact, I was first the one to respond in kind and hurl some of these above-mentioned insults right back at white athletes; I was immediately bombarded with myriad charges of racism! I give them a taste of their own medicine, and they lash out at me and label me a racist! However, these same folks have no qualms about giving supportive Thumbs Ups to to the crude remarks about black athletes! I owe you an apology, Stephen: I cannot lay out all the facts as you've requested! For a comprehensive list of all the ignominy heaped upon black stars, I'll have to write a huge book!!!!

Comments about Venus & Serena Williams that Yahoo Sports (Tennis) considers worthy of publication:
"HGH is a helluva drug."
"Dear Serena and Venus:
Please hurry back to tennis! We need you!
Signed,
A concerned pharmaceutical shareholder."
"They DON'T look well - or good for that matter - and hopefully they don't show their ugly asses at French open."
"The French Open? THEY'LL GET THEIR ASSES KICKED!! I love watching those cow-apes trying to slide on clay. It's hilarious. On second thought, DO play the French Open, williams brothers....it'll provide me with entertainment as I watch you lose."
"lets hear it for the boys, lets give the boys a haaannd!!! Their careers are basically over."
My supposedly obnoxiously offensive remark in response to Michael's comment ("Where are the racists going to comment when these talented young ladies retire? Oh well, there's always basketball."):
"Not to fear, Michael. The melanin-deprived megalomaniacs will always have convenient targets for venting frustrations arising out of their own impotence. US Sports will be a joke without the contribution of African-Americans! Basketball won't be their only solace after the Williams Sisters retire; just try to imagine America participating in Olympics 2012 without black athletes!!!! BTW, those supposedly human male specimens repeatedly referring to Venus & Serena as men, themselves look nearly as masculine as Clay Aiken in drag!"
I sincerely apologise, friends! What was I thinking?! Writing such utter filth after all those classy, intellectually-stimulating remarks by the geniuses!!!!

Sticks and Stones?
NBA superstar Kobe Bryant called referee Bennie Adams a "Faggot" following both a personal and technical foul call that didn't go Kobe's way on Tuesday night:
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Gay-rights-group-complains-as-Kobe-is-caught-usi?urn=nba-wp1277
Here's the comment of mine that Yahoo! Sports, NBA, refuses to publish, although it's fine with publishing gay-bashing remarks of certain bigots:
Well, since the actual article on Kobe's 6-letter "F" word doesn't provide space for comments, I'll post my thoughts here. First of all, I've always hated Kobe Bryant's behaviour; he's the best basketball player on the planet, but he's rude, foul-mouthed and disgustingly arrogant! The slur was obviously the worst part of the misbehaviour from yesterday, but the aggressive shoving of his teammate Joe Smith's friendly, fist-bump-ready extended hand came pretty close! Not to mention the whining & tantrums that earned him the technical foul in the first place! Now, if Kobe & his supporters think it's fine to use such language, then they should remain calm if some referee or white player from the opposition calls Kobe the "N" word in the next game! Kobe Bryant gets away with a whole lot of ugly outbursts that would've assured dire consequences for some of his colleagues....for instance, how do you the league would've reacted had Dwight Howard exhibited the same pattern of gross behaviour that Kobe displayed on-court yesterday??!! Having said that, I'd like to add that much worse behaviour is tolerated in White-dominated sports like Tennis and Ice-Hockey! John McEnroe & Andre Agassi were known to hurl ugly insults at umpires and linesmen/women! NHL players fight like wild animals in the hockey arena, often with referees passively watching & commentators actually expressing glee + excitement! If some professional sportsmen are allowed to be as obnoxious as they wish to, while others are penalised for similar acts, then you can't blame people for thinking that the ones deemed worthy of punishment are the
Uppity N******S who need to be put in their place! And that, my friends, is prejudice & unfair discrimination!

Article Heading: "Ill and Injured Roddick falls in Ericsson opener"
Now, my responses:
The text in Red isn't being published; the 1st section is appearing at present, but might disappear any moment!
“ 'I have to get some stuff looked at,' a wheezy Roddick said". Yeah, first get your head examined! "Roddick said the way he felt, he wasn’t surprised to lose. 'I didn’t feel very optimistic throughout the day,' " Seems like you've been feeling "that way" for most of your career, Rod-Dick! Kudos to the reporters for always faithfully backing Sore-Loser Androgynous Rod-Dick; after all these lame excuses, the article says "Roddick began limping at the end of the match and said he also had an injury, but he declined to elaborate."!!!! Had Serena or Venus Williams dared to make the same remarks, well....Need I say more??!!
“It’s deep in the chest,” he said. “It’s not even so much nasally or throat or anything like that. It’s just when I laugh, I start sounding like a car trying to start.”....After ALL THAT, the reporters insist that Roddick didn't want to elaborate of any of this!!!! Such comments by the Williams Sisters would've been promptly followed by harsh criticism of their whining, a few prayers for their health conditions to worsen, and, of course, rude criticism of their parents & racial heritage! The hypocrisy & double-standards are simply mind-boggling!

Here I Come Again....
Yahoo Sports (Tennis) has decided to ban me again! They published my original post, but refuse to allow me to respond to my critics or my supporters. Hence, doing the needful here:
In response to deluded folks of a particular hue (or rather the lack of it) constantly declaring that the melanin-deprived female tennis players are always pleasing to the eye, while those blessed with melanin are ugly, I confidently wrote that in my opinion the exact opposite is the truth! I criticised the physical appearances of those megalomaniacs and lauded the pulchritude of some members of the "colourful" group. I received a couple of responses to my comment, but am being denied the right to relay my thoughts regarding those responses. Here are the replies to my original note, followed by my forbidden retort & acknowledgement:
1) John T says: Gee, guess the rest of the world forgot that there is only one standard of beauty and you own the rights to it. Get OVER yourself. By the way, what was the last beauty pageant *you* won?(crickets)
Exactly.
My "censored" response: John T, I'd love to discuss my own dazzling beauty in vivid detail, but a character flaw of mine prevents me from doing so. You see, I'm humble to a fault!
2) Nightwing69 says: YOU ROCK, OneWiseWoman!
My "censored" response: Thanks, Nightwing69. The Yahoo Sports guys are often banning this unassuming "rock"-star, though; hence the dire need for this blog!

Golden Words HAVE TO BE Repeated!
OK, here we go! Yahoo Sports (Tennis) website....one of the primary offenders! They flatly refuse to publish the following post of mine. Other posts keep streaming in, though, and in comparison to some of the inane comments, mine sounds almost Shakespearean in quality! Also, other sites are posting my messages, hence the fault definitely doesn't lie with my connection. The article in discussion bears the heading:
"I have mixed feelings about this matter. While I totally respect Kim Clijsters's decision to plan her own future, I also feel that this doesn't reflect too well on professional women. It's not just sports....you hear complaints about women from a variety of professions simply quitting for family or personal reasons upon reaching their peaks in their respective fields! When your talent is noticed by your experienced superiors and you are groomed for greater responsibilities & success, then it's natural for your bosses to expect serious dedication to your job. I deplore sexism & prejudice against women, but have to acknowledge that when mentors repeatedly find their male proteges displaying far greater ambition & devotion to their professions than their female counterparts, they are bound to prefer the former to the latter! These days women get annoyed if they are asked about their future family & marriage plans during interviews for highly demanding jobs. However, in all fairness, from the boss's perspective, it's necessary to determine if the talented & qualified person they are planning on training & preparing for a demanding career is serious about dedicating his/her life to it! Can you imagine the waste of time & effort (not to mention the setbacks to the department itself) if your golden girl, about to be named your honoured successor, suddenly decides to bid adieu to her career because she'd rather focus on a hubby + cute little babies??!!"
"INTERVIEW-Tennis-Clijsters to play on for maximum two years"
The subject in discussion: Australian Open champion Kim Clijsters plans to play on for a maximum two years following her remarkable run of success since returning to the tour in 2009 after taking time out to have a baby.
Here's my "offensive" post that those sanctimonious upholders of virtue deem unprintable. Nothing great, but a gem in comparison with some of the obtuse remarks that ARE deemed worthy:
